ASHES DIVIDE Begins Fall Tour Schedule

September 25, 2008

According to The Pulse of Radio, ASHES DIVIDE began a lengthy fall tour schedule on Wednesday (September 24) in Detroit, where the group starts a new round of dates with SEETHER. Once that ends in early October, the band will jump back on the road later that month as opening act for PUDDLE OF MUDD. As a new act, ASHES DIVIDE has been playing to a lot of other bands'crowds, but singer/guitarist Billy Howerdel told The Pulse of Radio they always manage to pick up a few new fans. "We're not preaching to the converted a lot of times when we go out there but, you know, by the end of the set, you know, you see some more heads bobbing and some people loosening up their feet," he said. "You see a little more toe tapping going on. I mean, that's what it's about. We're trying to just spread the word and trying to find some more people to sample the music to."

ASHES DIVIDE appeared this past summer on LINKIN PARK's Projekt Revolution tour.

Howerdel played guitar in A PERFECT CIRCLE before forming ASHES DIVIDE.

The band is touring in support of its debut album, "Keep Telling Myself It's Alright", which arrived last spring.
