AS I LAY DYING Announces First U.S. Tour Dates Of 2007

San Diego wrecking crew AS I LAY DYING has been laying low for the past few months, joining forces with producer (and KILLSWITCH ENGAGE guitarist) Adam Dutkiewicz (UNDEROATH, ALL THAT REMAINS, UNEARTH, EVERY TIME I DIE) to brew up a new album that will be ready by fall 2007. This highly anticipated third effort will be the follow-up to the band's critically acclaimed, breakthrough CD, "Shadows are Security", which came out in 2005.

AS I LAY DYING has just announced they will be taking a short break from the recording studio and hitting the road for the first time in 2007, including a slot on Bamboozle 2007 on Sunday, May 6.

AS I LAY DYING last year re-released their first two recordings, previously out on Pluto Records, via Metal Blade Records. The set includes both a re-recorded and the original version of the band's split CD with AMERICAN TRAGEDY (originally issued in 2002),plus their first album, "Beneath the Encasing of Ashes" (2001).
