June 5, 2006

The video for ARTIMUS PYLEDRIVER's lead single, "Swamp Devil", has been posted online at this location. The clip, which was filmed in late April outside of Atlanta, was directed by Dan Burke and features the band in their element.

ARTIMUS PYLEDRIVER are set to release their self-titled debut tomorrow, June 6, 2006 via DRT Entertainment. An e-card previewing the entire album can be heard at this location.

Named in homage to LYNYRD SKYNYRD drummer, Artimus Pyle, the 10-track aural attack of ARTIMUS PYLEDRIVER will introduce your ears to their own unique brand of "heavy Southern rawk." Recorded at The A Room Studios in Atlanta GA, the album was mixed and mastered by Matt Washburn at Ledbelly Studios and produced by ARTIMUS PYLEDRIVER and Dave Angstrom. "This album is just the beginning of our sonic assault on southern rock and hardcore,” raves singer Dave Slocum. “This is the shit that bridges the gap between David Allen Coe and BLACK FLAG."

ARTIMUS PYLEDRIVER will be hitting the road with NEBULA and BAD WIZARD from June 18 to June 28.
