ARTHEMESIA Announces New Guitarist, Focuses On 'More Epic And Transcendental' Sound

April 30, 2007

Finnish black metallers ARTHEMESIA have issued the following update:

"We decided to bury whole 'ShamaNatahS (Teonanacatl)' and concentrate on new material. All those songs were so old that they didn't really express the current sound of ARTHEMESIA. Our 'new' sound is more epic and transcendental and really entraps the magickal mood we've been looking for over these 12 years; quite primitive, naturalistic and organic. We got a new guitarist as well: S.M. NekroC, whom some of you might know from DE LIRIUM'S ORDER. An awesome guitarist! Anyway, you can listen to some of those 'ShamaNatahS' tracks in our MySpace site."

Featuring several members from the Finnish extreme metal scene, ARTHEMESIA formed in 1994, working their way up the ladder via a couple of demos before their 2001 debut release, "Devs Iratvs".
