ARSIS Putting Finishing Touches On New Album
Virginia-based melodic tech-death metal masters ARSIS are putting the finishing touches on the mixes for their fifth full-length album, "Unwelcome", tentatively due in early 2013 via Nuclear Blast Records. The band states, "It doesn’t sound polished, and we love that." The CD was recorded at Audiohammer Studios in Sanford, Florida with producer Mark Lewis (THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, WHITECHAPEL, DEVILDRIVER, DEICIDE, SIX FEET UNDER). The cover artwork is being created by Riddickart's Mark Riddick.
ARSIS's 2010 album, "Starve For The Devil" (Nuclear Blast Records), sold 1,800 copies in the United States in its first week of release, landing at No. 13 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart.
