ARMY OF ANYONE's Debut Enters Billboard Chart At No. 56

November 22, 2006

ARMY OF ANYONE's self-titled debut album has sold 20,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 56 on next week's The Billboard 200 chart.

ARMY OF ANYONE is the new band that matches singer Richard Patrick from FILTER with guitarist Dean DeLeo and bassist Robert DeLeo of STONE TEMPLE PILOTS. All three players have had their ups and downs with their previous groups, and Robert DeLeo told Launch that they've all learned from their experiences. "Right now in my life after being in the same band for 12, 13 years, you know, going into this I really have a blueprint in front of me of what to do and what not to do, and so do the people in my band," he said. "We've been through a lot, we've learned, and we wanna be here because we wanna be here. We wanna make music and contribute something valid to music."

ARMY OF ANYONE also features ex-DAVID LEE ROTH drummer Ray Luzier.
