Long-running Los Angeles metallers ARMORED SAINT are scheduled to make a rare acoustic appearance on Indie 103.1's "Chaos" metal show on Wednesday, July 5 at 10:00 p.m. PST. According to drummer Gonzo, the band will play "at least two songs." You can listen to the live stream at www.indie1031.fm.

In other news, a video clip of ARMORED SAINT performing the song "Reign of Fire" on June 25, 2006 at the Graspop Metal Meeting in Dessel, Belgium has been posted online at YouTube.com.

ARMORED SAINT's July 7 date with DEATH ANGEL and FLOTSAM AND JETSAM at the House Of Blues in West Hollywood, California will reportedly be taped for the band's upcoming live DVD. No further details are currently available.

It is not presently clear if plans exist for ARMORED SAINT to begin work on a new studio album. The group's last CD, "Revelation", came out in 2000 on the Metal Blade label.
