ARMORED SAINT Check In From Europe

June 25, 2006

The following message was posted on ARMORED SAINT's MySpace profile:

"Gonzo [drums] checked in this morning and wanted me to pass the following message on to you all: 'Bang Your Head [festival in Germany] was completely rocking. People were saying that we were the best act of the weekend.... lots of praise to the SAINT. Tonight [June 25] is Graspop... 40 thousand expected. Having a blast! A huge power metal hug to all our fans.'

"The SAINT continues to march through Europe as I type this. They've played in Holland, Germany and Belgium in the last few days. Next up is the U.K. for a run of four shows. As reported a couple of weeks ago, one of those U.K. shows will be recorded for a DVD release. Phil [Sandoval, guitar] also checked in yesterday and told me he thought it was going to be the show in Glasgow, but as soon as I get the location confirmed I'll be sure to let everyone know. Fans in the U.K. are gonna want to pack that show and show the world that metalheads in the U.K. are alive and strong!"

In other news, ARMORED SAINT's July 7 date with DEATH ANGEL and FLOTSAM AND JETSAM at the House Of Blues in West Hollywood, California will also reportedly be taped for the upcoming live DVD. No further details are currently available.

It is not presently clear if plans exist for ARMORED SAINT to begin work on a new studio album. The group's last CD, "Revelation", came out in 2000 on the Metal Blade label.
