March 5, 2008

ARMORED SAINT/FATES WARNING bassist Joey Vera has issued the following update:

"I'm playing some local gigs with singer Brad Alden here in Los Angeles this month and in April doing one in Tokyo, Japan on the 23rd. Ahh, back to Tokyo!

"ARMORED SAINT news: The SAINT will be playing at this year's Rocklahoma festival in Pryor, Oklahoma which is just outside of Tulsa. We'll be playing on Friday, July 11 on the main stage. Also on that stage will be KINGDOM COME, NIGHT RANGER, EXTREME and the original lineup of TRIUMPH. Should be a hoot!

"The CD 'Bass Invaders' is out now. This is a project by HELLOWEEN bassist Markus Grosskopf and the CD is a collection of songs played without any guitars. It features solos by Billy Sheehan, Marco Mendoza, Rudy Sarzo, yours truly (on track 8, 'Far Too Late') and many others. Check it out!

"I want to say thank you! to everyone who has sent me emails regarding my CD A CHINESE FIREDRILL. The response has been incrdible and loads and loads of great reviews. I'm glad you're all digging it. Maybe I'll get off my ass and do another one soon!"
