Here's yet another update from the UK's PITCHSHIFTER on the songwriting progress for their forthcoming studio album: “As you know, PITCHSHIFTER are currently writing a new LP in their demo studio in Nottingham, England. The boys have been on a real creative roll and the tunes are coming thick and fast. They recently completed a demo to be played to prospective new labels and things are going well in label talks. The demo has grown and grown and nine tunes were mixed to demo level four days ago. Now they've finished another tune over the weekend. A quote from [vocalist] J.S. [Clayden]: 'We managed to mix down another tune at the weekend. We have quite a few tunes with no vocals on them right now because I just haven't had time to get to them at the pace we're writing the music. I managed to nail the vox on a tune over the weekend and it's a stormer. There are a few faster tunes on the demo and the new one we just finished is one of them. Running at 165bpm and only just over 3 minutes, it's gonna be a lot of fun to play this one live. Hopefully if we keep going at this rate we can finish up the remaining four tunes that need vocals and get writing some more!' "
