ARCH ENEMY, NEVERMORE Members Voice Characters On 'Death Clock Metalocalypse'

April 11, 2006

ARCH ENEMY guitarist Michael Amott and members of NEVERMORE have lent their voices to the "Death Clock Metalocalypse" cartoon series.

Brendon Small, known for the series "Home Movies", co-created "Death Clock Metalocalypse" about a Norwegian heavy metal band called DEATHKLOK. Although they rock to the top of the charts with gusto, they are also incredibly stupid and leave a path of destruction and mayhem behind wherever they tour.

Small also recently recorded contributions from METALLICA's James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett for inclusion in the series. "They were awesome, period," he said. "I'm a HUUUUGE METALLICA fan and grew up on 'Master of Puppets' and 'Ride the Lightning', so I was all 'stomache batsy' and 'throw-uppy in my mouthy' to meet them. And they were very funny and awesome. To our relief. Thank god they were so good."

The new series will premiere on August 6 on Adult Swim, the adult-oriented television programming block on Cartoon Network. More information will be made available soon.
