APRIL DIVINE To Release Free Single

June 4, 2008

Swedish alternative rock outfit APRIL DIVINE will make its new single, "Kiss from a Rose", available for free download on June 13. The song was recorded by the Swedish Grammis award-winning producer Tobias Lindell (MUSTASCH, HEED, PETTER, BRITNEY SPEARS).

APRIL DIVINE entered Studio Bohus, located in Gothenburg, Sweden, in March 2008 to record the SEAL cover "Kiss from a Rose" with Lindell, who is best known for his work with Swedish Grammis award winners MUSTASCH. Drummer Per Karlsson states: "We wanted this new single to sound big and epic, and considering the sound and production of the latest MUSTASCH album, Tobias was the perfect choice to bring out the right elements of the song."

APRIL DIVINE, which released its critically acclaimed debut album "Chapter One" in 2007, recently recorded the follow-up effort in Atlanta, Georgia with American producer Rick Beato (BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, DARK NEW DAY, SHINEDOWN, SEVENDUST, VINCE NEIL, SUBMERSED).

Commented bassist Peter Uvn: "By releasing this single as a free download we pay tribute to all our amazing fans out there and at the same time give people a taste of what the new album is gonna be all about. Our version of 'Kiss from a Rose' is heavy and epic and I think that even SEAL himself will be proud of it!"
