APOCALYPSE RISING Completing Work On Debut Demo

May 2, 2004

APOCALYPSE RISING, the new "power metal/early '80s thrash" band featuring former MALEVOLENT CREATION drummer Alex Marquez and his former SOLSTICE bandmate/guitarist Dennis Munoz, are putting the finishing touches on their six-track demo. Songtitles set to appear on the CD are as follows:

01. One For Tomorrow
02. Death Blow
03. The Return
04. Live On Your Knees or Die On Your Feet
05. Rise For the Cause
06. For the Last Time

The quartet, which is completed by second guitarist Willy Medina and bass player Mike Marabell, sees Marquez handling the vocal duties (the band plans to have a drummer for live performances while Alex will be recording all the drum tracks in the studio) and co-writing all the material with Munoz and Medina. According to Marquez, the singing will be "very melodic yet very aggressive." For more information, write to [email protected].
