AOR Heaven/Metal Heaven have struck up a deal with the Swedish label Rivel Records to handle all of Rivel's upcoming releases for the European territory. First up will be new editions of the spring's best-sellers AUDIOVISION and DIVINEFIRE, both of which are expected on July 18.

AUDIOVISION are a melodic hard rock/metal band which was originally founded by Rivel head honcho Christian Rivel (NARNIA vocalist) in between recording and touring sessions with NARNIA. Rivel is joined on the album by drummer Thomas Broman, who has previously worked with Glenn Hughes (DEEP PURPLE, BLACK SABBATH) and Mikael Höglund (THUNDER). Other guests include Tony Franklin (BLUE MURDER, WHITESNAKE) on bass, Bruce Kulick (KISS, GRAND FUNK RAILROAD) on guitar, Mic Michaeli (EUROPE) on keyboards, Jeff Scott Soto (TALISMAN, SOUL SIRKUS) on vocals, Mattias Eklundh (FREAK KITCHEN) on guitar and Eric Clayton (SAVIOUR MACHINE) on vocals. The CD was produced by Lars Chriss (LION'S SHARE), who also co-wrote seven songs and played 90 percent of the guitars on the album.

DIVINEFIRE is Rivel's collaboration with Jani Stefanovic (AM I BLOOD), who handled the guitar work some of the songwriting on the project. Unlike AUDIOVISION, DIVINEFIRE focuses on bombastic elements and speed and is being decribed iun a press release as "RHAPSODY [with] more double bass." An impressive list of guests joined the Rivel/Stefanovic team for the recordings of "Glory Thy Name", including Pontus Norgren (GREAT KING RAT) on guitar, Carl Johan Grimmark (NARNIA) on guitar, Eric Clayton (SAVIOUR MACHINE) on vocals and Thomas Vikström (TALK OF THE TOWN) on backing vocals. This new edition of the album will include a video clip for the song "World's On Fire" as a bonus.
