ANVIL, PHANTOM-X: European Tour Dates Announced

Legendary Canadian metallers ANVIL will be teaming up with PHANTOM-X, the new project featuring OMEN singer Kevin Goocher, for the following European dates in November:

As previously reported, ANVIL will be performing at Heads Or Tails in Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada on September 24. Also appearing on the bill will be HELL DRIVERS.

ANVIL have been confirmed for the Gates of Hell 2005 festival at The Reverb in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on September 17. Also scheduled to perform at the festival are NUCLEAR ASSAULT, RAZOR, DREAMS OF DAMNATION, PILEDRIVER, ESCHATUS, ECLIPSE ETERNAL and DEAD OF WINTER. ANVIL will also be performing at the Montreal Metal Fest at the Spectrum in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on December 10.

ANVIL have tentatively set "This Is Thirteen" (or "TIT" for short) for their upcoming thirteenth studio album. 13 songs are scheduled to appear on the CD, the cover for which will be a superstitious theme, as in a broken mirror, black cat and the anvil under a ladder.

As well as issuing ANVIL's new CD, "Back to Basics", Screaming Ferret Wreckords, LLC will also be re-releasing much of ANVIL's back catalogue in the U.S. They will be remastered and include bonus tracks.
