April 6, 2009

Film critic Richard Crouse hosted a question-and-answer session with ANVIL members Steve "Lips" Kudlow (vocals, guitar) and Robb Reiner (drums) at the Canadian theatrical premier of their acclaimed documentary, "Anvil! The Story of Anvil", on April 3, 2009 in Toronto, Ontario. Watch a four-minute clip below.

ANVIL will appear at this year's Metal Hammer Golden Gods ceremony, which will be held June 15 at Indigo2 in London, England's O2 Arena . ANVIL will perform on the main stage of the annual awards bash, which is owned by Future's Metal Hammer magazine. The event celebrates the great and good from the international world of rock and metal as well as playing host to several of the loudest bands on the planet to an audience of frothing and frenzied kids. Also scheduled to appear is Santa Barbara, California's DEVILDRIVER, with more acts to be announced.

Steve "Lips" Kudlow and Robb Reiner, along with director Sacha Gervasi, were on hand at the Apple Store in New York City on Wednesday, March 25 to show clips from their acclaimed documentary, "Anvil! The Story of Anvil", and answer questions from fans. The free event was hosted by XM's Boneyard host Eddie Trunk, who also has a long-running radio show, "Friday Night Rocks", on New York's Q104.3 FM. Trunk's "That Metal Show" co-hosts, Don Jameson and Jim Florentine, shared stories about their experiences meeting ANVIL, and FOZZY vocalist Chris Jericho (of WWE wrestling fame) asked questions and hung out with the band.
