ANTHRAX: Classic 'Among The Living' Lineup Confirmed For France's FURY FEST

ANTHRAX's classic "Among the Living" lineup has been confirmed for the 2005 edition of the Fury Fest, set to take place June 24-26 in Le Mans, France. Also newly confirmed for the festival are DARK TRANQUILLITY, EPICA, ILLDISPOSED, LACUNA COIL, MY DYING BRIDE and MISFITS. The list of bands currently scheduled to appear at the festival is as follows:

Tickets will go on sale March 1 from the usual points of sale and via the festival's official web site.

ANTHRAX's "Among the Living" lineup is also scheduled to perform at the Dynamo Open Air festival on May 7 in Hellendoorn, Holland, at the Sweden Rock festival June 9-11 in Sölvesborg, Sweden and at the Gods of Metal festival June 11-12, 2005 at Arena Parco Nord in Bologna, Italy.

ANTHRAX's "Among the Living" lineup — Scott Ian (guitar),Joey Belladonna (vocals),Charlie Benante (drums),Dan Spitz (guitar) and Frank Bello (bass) — is said to be planning a series of North American dates this summer, including an appearance at the 10th anniversary edition of Ozzfest. Sharon Osbourne is believed to have promised ANTHRAX a slot at this year's Ozzfest but only on the condition that they perform with the classic lineup that was responsible for some of the band's most successful albums.
