ANOMIA Signs To HOLD TRUE RECORDINGS

June 23, 2009

Hold True Recordings has announces the addition of the central Massachusetts prog/experimental metal band ANOMIA. The group's new album, "ESM", is scheduled for release on July 10.

Commented the band: "We are excited to announce that we have signed with Hold True Recordings to release our new album, 'ESM'. We have a tour planned for July/August that takes us down the East Coast to promote this new CD. With the help of HTR releasing this for us, we plan on being on the road more often now to push the album and band as much as possible. Expect to see us on the road a few more times before the end of this year, and even more in the next year to come!"

For those who are not yet familiar with ANOMIA, the sextuplet's sound is heavily progressive with experimental undertones. The band combines face-melting guitar sweeps, synths/ambient sounds, ball-stomping bass and drums, toped off with a wide range of monstrous vocals. ANOMIA's brand of face-crushing metal will surely appeal to fans of BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME, JOB FOR A COWBOY, PSYOPUS, WHITECHAPEL, CARNIFEX, and VEIL OF MAYA.
