ANIMALS AS LEADERS: New Video Interview, Quality Performance Footage Available

September 27, 2011

On September 12, Michael of Freethinkers' Blog conducted an interview with Tosin Abasi of progressive instrumentalists ANIMALS AS LEADERS in Vienna, Austria. You can now watch the chat in two parts below. Also available is footage of the band performing a new song, "Isolated Incidents", during the Vienna concert.

"Isolated Incidents" comes off ANIMALS AS LEADERS' second full-length album, "Weightless", which will be released in North America on November 8, in mainland Europe on November 4 and in the U.K. on November 7 via Prosthetic Records. The CD was produced by drummer Navene Koperweis and his bandmates, and was mixed by guitarist Javier Reyes. The album marks the recording debut of Koperweis and Reyes with ANIMALS AS LEADERS.

"Weightless" will be available on CD, MP3 and LP. The CD comes in a six-panel, plastic-free "eco-package," while the LP version is limited to 1,000 copies in a custom, die-cut, heavyweight Stoughton jacket with a download card. There are three color variations: 500 copies on 180-gram black wax, 400 on clear and 100 on "sea blue." There are also two exclusive T-shirts and a zip-up hooded sweatshirt, with a limited-edition screen print offered for those who purchase the "deluxe" bundle (both shirts and either an LP or CD).
