ANGTORIA Tap MY OWN GRAVE Drummer For Video Shoot

April 14, 2006

ANGTORIA, the new Swedish/British orchestral/metal band formed by female singer Sarah Jezebel Deva (CRADLE OF FILTH, THERION, MORTIIS),composer Chris Rehn (ABYSSOS) and Tommy Rehn (MOAHNI MOAHNA),have recruited drummer John Henriksson of Swedish death/thrash metal band MY OWN GRAVE for the "God Has A Plan For Us All" video shoot. The clip will be filmed over a three-day period at two different locations, with up-and-coming, award-winning Swedish director Måns Berthas. On April 19, Sarah, Dave Pybus (CRADLE OF FILTH bassist) and Toni Davey (CRADLE OF FILTH frontman Dani Davey's wife and ANGTORIA album cover model),will fly to Sweden to join Chris, Tommy and Henriksson to shoot the video for title track of their debut album, due on April 27 via Listenable Records.

According to a press release, the song "God Has A Plan For Us All" is "based around child abuse by a religious person, which in turn leads the girl to madness because of years of mental torture through the offender getting away with what he has done to her. Putting images to lyrics like these is quite difficult without getting banned by every TV station, but we will sure try to portray the lyrics in images as much as possible. Chris's young daughter Saga will play the child and Toni will obviously play the girl as older. This is to show the deterioration from start to finish of the girl's life."

As previously reported, the mixing process for "God Has A Plan For Us All" began on January 14, with acclaimed producer Daniel Bergstrand (IN FLAMES, SOILWORK, MESHUGGAH, DEVIN TOWNSEND, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, BEHEMOTH) stepping in during the initial phase, and Tommy and Chris completing the mix at Sidelake studios with Micke Öhlén. The mastering was finished February 14 at the Cutting Room in Stockholm by Björn Engelmann, who has previously worked with RAMMSTEIN, IN FLAMES, SOILWORK, DIMMU BORGIR and WITHIN TEMPTATION, among others. The initial cover concept/idea was developed by Sarah. The CD will be available in two versions: a standard jewel case version and a digipack version with a bonus track.
