ANGTORIA: Pictures From 'God Has A Plan For Us All' Video Shoot Posted Online

April 24, 2006

ANGTORIA, the new Swedish/British orchestral/metal band formed by female singer Sarah Jezebel Deva (CRADLE OF FILTH, THERION, MORTIIS),composer Chris Rehn (ABYSSOS) and Tommy Rehn (MOAHNI MOAHNA),have finished filming a video for the track "God Has A Plan For Us All" with up-and-coming, award-winning Swedish director Måns Berthas.

Commented the band: "The video shoot went really well, and the director Måns Berthas and the extremely talented and devoted crew he put together did a truly amazing job! The video was filmed in two locations, a very impressive and beautiful church (Njurunda Kyrka) and an abandoned deteriorated building, over a three-day period and due to the lyrical theme of the song it was filmed as a 'short movie.' It contains footage of as well the band as Chris' 5-year-old daughter Saga who played the child, Toni Davey (wife of Dani Filth in CRADLE OF FILTH and covergirl on the album) who played the child as a grown up to a 35-piece church choir and a priest played by Pierre Ragnehag! There were three long and very hard days for all of us, but the result was well worth the effort. Now the task of editing the video starts and release date will be when it has been finished edited, which will roughly be by the end of May."

"God Has A Plan For Us All" is the title track of ANGTORIA's debut album, which is being released in Europe this week via Listenable Records. The mixing process for the CD began on January 14, with acclaimed producer Daniel Bergstrand (IN FLAMES, SOILWORK, MESHUGGAH, DEVIN TOWNSEND, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, BEHEMOTH) stepping in during the initial phase, and Tommy and Chris completing the mix at Sidelake studios with Micke Öhlén. The mastering was finished February 14 at the Cutting Room in Stockholm by Björn Engelmann, who has previously worked with RAMMSTEIN, IN FLAMES, SOILWORK, DIMMU BORGIR and WITHIN TEMPTATION, among others. The initial cover concept/idea was developed by Sarah. The CD will be available in two versions: a standard jewel case version and a digipack version with a bonus track.
