ANCIENT VVISDOM: New Album Title, Release Date Revealed

November 8, 2012

Texas-based acoustic rock act ANCIENT VVISDOM will release its new album, "Deathlike", on February 5, 2013 via Prosthetic Records. The band will promote the CD by embarking on a North American tour as the support act for Norwegian progressive extreme metallers ENSLAVED. The three-week trek, which also features doom metallers PALLBEARER, kicks off on January 30 in Philadelphia.

ANCIENT VVISDOM, which consists of singer/songwriter Nathan Opposition, his brother Michael Jochum (electric guitar) and acoustic guitarist Justin "Ribs" Mason, was seen earlier this year touring the U.S. as openers for mysterious Swedish buzz act GHOST. From there, the band toured overseas in response to their nominations for "Best Underground Band" at Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards and "Best New Band" at the annual Classic Rock Roll Of Honour, a trek that also saw them perform at Norway's Inferno festival and the prestigious Roadburn festival in Holland.
