Britain's ANATHEMA have been confirmed as the support band for PORCUPINE TREE on their upcoming European tour beginning in early April. The tour dates are as follows:

In other news, ANATHEMA have announced a special show on Tuesday, March 1 at Shephers Bush in London. The band will be performing their songs in a unique acoustic setting with cello player Dave Wesling. Also appearing on the bill will be Richard Barbieri (ex-JAPAN, PORCUPINE TREE),Tim Bowness (NO-MAN),and Markus Reuter (CENTROZOON, EUROPA STRING CHOIR). Doors open 7:45 p.m. Performances begin 8:00 p.m.

ANATHEMA recently issued a DVD, entitled "Were You There?" The disc contains a full live show recorded on ANATHEMA's "A Natural Disaster" tour, an acoustic concert performed with a string quartet from the Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, plus videos, live clips and other extra features. The artwork and menu designs have been designed by Travis Smith.
