AMORAL Jam With CARCASS Frontman On STRYPER Classic: Photos Available

Finnish melodic death metallers AMORAL have posted the following message on their official web site:

"As you may have noticed, it's been pretty quiet at the AMORAL camp lately. Our 'upcoming gigs' list is shorter than ever (the 'Decrowning Europe' tour is just about done),and we are finally starting to work on new stuff for our third go at writing the ultimate metal album. We have a few more Finnish dates to play (with some more possibly popping up later),but other than that it's time to concentrate on writing songs.

"Last week we had the honor to be the very last band to play on the Tuska [open-air festival] weekend, and the gig was lots of fun. As the theme of the night was cover songs, we threw some classic riffs into our own material throughout the set. The highlight of the show was during the last two songs, when we had special guests onstage with us. Our friend Christian Palin from RANDOM EYES did a cool duet with Niko on H.I.M.'s 'Your Sweet Six Six Six', and one Jeff Walker from CARCASS came on for the grand finale, STRYPER's 'Soldiers Under Command'. It was quite a headfuck, looking to my right while playing, and there's Jeff fukkin' Walker onstage with us, singing STRYPER! Check out some pics at Tartarean Desire."

AMORAL's second album, "Decrowning", was released in the U.S. in March via Candlelight Records USA. The CD is available in Europe on Spikefarm Records.

AMORAL signed a deal with Spikefarm in July 2004 following their split with the U.K.'s Rage of Achilles. The group's debut album, "Wound Creations", was recorded at Sonic Pump Studios and was mastered by Mika Jussila at Finnvox studios in Helsinki.
