AMORAL Drummer Joins CRYSTAL BLAZE

March 29, 2008

Finnish "Wacken Metal Battle 2007" winners CRYSTAL BLAZE have announced the addition of longtime friend, Juhana "Juffi" Karlsson from AMORAL, as their new drummer. According to a press release, "Juffi performed with the band in Qstock (Oulu, Finland) 2007 and Wacken Open Air 2007, as well as recorded drums for the band's latest release, 'Beneath the Sands'. Apart from having a perfectly fitting personality for the CRYSTAL BLAZE crew, Juffi's versatile drum playing has improved the band's groove and technical expertise and expanded the band's sonic landscape to a new level."

In other news, CRYSTAL BLAZE has made four new tracks available for download from the band's official web site. "The new four-song release called 'Beneath the Sands' with its four rockin', ass-kickin' 'n' earth-shakin' tracks introduces a much heavier, groovier and more progressive side of CRYSTAL BLAZE as a deviation from the band's earlier power metal approach," according to a press release.

Future plans for CRYSTAL BLAZE include gigging and composing material for a full-length CD.
