November 26, 2006

AMON AMARTH and IN EXTREMO have been confirmed for next year's installment of the Summer Breeze festival, set to take place August 16-18, 2007 in Dinkelsbühl, Germany. Also scheduled to appear is DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER.

In other AMON AMARTH-related news, the band has issued the following update:

"In Köln [Germany] on Nov. 28 our friends from the JOMSWIKINGER are coming to the show, and they are ready to fight! They have agreed to put on a special viking show for us, and we are really looking forward to working with them again. This will be the second time we have the JOMSWIKINGER with us on stage in Köln. The first time was for the DVD recording about a year ago. If you don't want to miss this special show and do not have tickets yet, make sure to order them NOW!"

As previously reported, AMON AMARTH's video for the song "Runes to my Memory" has been posted online at this location (Windows Media). An exclusive media player for "With Oden On Our Side", featuring two songs from the album, can be accessed at this location. The CD was recorded at Fascination Street studios in Örebro, Sweden with producer Jens Bogren.
