AMASEFFER: Final Recording Sessions Postponed

April 13, 2007

Drummer and main songwriter Erez Yohanan of AMASEFFER — the new "holy project" from Andy Kuntz, lead singer of German progressive metal band VANDEN PLAS — has issued the following update:

"Due to unsolvable time schedule with Andy Kuntz we are postponing the final recording sessions in Germany. As we have posted earlier this year, the CD is done and fully produced and now we wait for Andy to finish the vocal lines so we will fly back to Bazement studios in Germany to finish the recordings and finish mixing the CD.

"To all our holy friends around the world that have been sending us mails and showing big interest in our holy voyage, we say THANK YOU for being so patient and we promise you that this EPIC will live to the high expectations!!!"

AMASEFFER'a trilogy of albums is being recorded in three separate sessions. The first, as-yet-untitled album is due later this year and will contain ten tracks with a running time of 74 minutes. Most of the CD is being recorded at Germany's Bazement studios, where VANDEN PLAS' "Christ.0" album was also recorded. ORPHANED LAND singer Kobi Farhi will narrate the albums, which will feature artwork by acclaimed artist Mattias Norén (AYREON, EVERGREY). Also scheduled to make an appearance is ARCH ENEMY frontwoman Angela Gossow.
