AMASEFFER Debut To Feature Guest Appearance By ORPHANED LAND Singer

July 20, 2006

Drummer and main songwriter Erez Yohanan of AMASEFFER, the new "holy project" from Andy Kuntz, enigmatic lead singer of German progressive metal band VANDEN PLAS, has issued the following update:

"The trilogy of albums recounting the story of Exodus will be recorded in three separate sessions. The first as yet untitled album is due in the first half of 2007 and I can confirm that the album will contain ten tracks with a running time of 74 minutes. The album will also be recorded in Germany's Bazement Studios where VANDEN PLAS' 'Christ.0' was recorded."

In other news, VANDEN PLAS keyboardist Gunter Werno (D.C. COOPER, KAMELOT, SECTION A) has offered his services during the recording sessions for the album. "We've had so many great offers from people around the world that are interested in helping us it is very hard to choose between them," explained Erez. "Two in particular are ORPHANED LAND singer Kobi Farhi, who will narrate the albums, and the very talented Mattias Noren (AYREON, EVERGREY),who will be doing the artwork for AMASEFFER."

A new sound sample is available at www.myspace.com/amasefferband. AMASEFFER has also released a trailer for the upcoming trilogy on its official web site, www.amaseffer.com.
