AMARANTINE Changes Name To CLOCKWORK SPIRIT

AMARANTINE, the Helsinki, Finland-based metal band featuring members of AJATTARA, KIUAS, LIE IN RUINS and HANGING GARDEN, have changed its name to CLOCKWORK SPIRIT to coincide with the release of its self-titled debut album. Due on October 28, the CD will be distributed by the German label Dance Macabre Records and will initially be available only in Europe.

CLOCKWORK SPIRIT is a band that draws its inspiration from dark and strange atmospheres. Melodic and epic themes contrast with the dark and distressing giving birth to bizarre mindscapes and a sense of cosmic alienation.
