ALTER BRIDGE Prepping Next Effort

According to The Pulse of Radio, ALTER BRIDGE announced on Tuesday (February 17) that the band has begun working on its new album, tentatively titled "Alter Bridge III". No other info as far as a release date, producer or studio has been revealed. In the meantime, ALTER BRIDGE singer Myles Kennedy and guitarist Mark Tremonti have booked a couple of acoustic shows in Northern California, on February 24 in Modesto and February 25 in Santa Rosa, both at local radio stations.

ALTER BRIDGE plans to issue a live DVD in April.

The band's last studio effort, "Blackbird", came out in October 2007.
