AL ATKINS Guitarist MIKE DE JAGER Launches G-TV

May 25, 2006

South African guitarist Mike De Jager, who is currently playing with original JUDAS PRIEST frontman Al Atkins, has sent the following message to BLABBERMOUTH.NET:

"Work with Al Atkins continues as we rehearse with the new tour band getting ready for Sweden later this year.

"Great news, though. I own a video productions company — MpegUK Ltd. — and have done work for DIAMOND HEAD, AL ATKINS, DANTE FOX, DENNIS STRATTON and others, but this year I launched MpegUK-TV [web site] which was is the world's first guitarist and music Internet TV channel.

June sees the launch of my new channel for the world's premier guitarists, G-TV or Guitarist TV [web site]. New York's guitarist son, Joe Satriani, has already endorsed the channel and is appearing on it 24/7 — with the launch of his new CD 'Super Colossal' and as part of the U.K. launch, I will be interviewing him on the 19th June at (U.K.) Birmingham's Symphony Hall for G-TV at which time he will be invited to officially launch the internet TV channel. It's a great step forward for metal/rock guitar instrumentalists — now we have a channel that will play solid guitarist videos 24/7 on the net. It's an all-or-nothing TV channel. We hope to have the best in the west up there for the entire world to see!!!"
