AKERCOCKE To Guest On IRON MAIDEN Singer's Radio Show

Controversial U.K. dark art practitioners AKERCOCKE will be IRON MAIDEN frontman Bruce Dickinson's guests on Friday, July 6 during Bruce's weekly BBC 6 Music radio show, aptly named "The Bruce Dickinson Friday Rock Show". Listen to the program live via the Internet between 10:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m. U.K. time at BBC.co.uk.

AKERCOCKE has posted an advance sample of its promo video, "Axiom", at YouTube.

On May 14, the sharp-suited metal maestros arrived at Wilton's Music Hall in London to shoot the "Axiom" video, lifted from the band's new album "Antichrist". The shoot was undertaken by highly acclaimed film company HSI (NIRVANA, MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE, COHEED AND CAMBRIA).

With a concept based around a semi-erotic scene in which the band plays out the song from within the clothing of a pair of voluptuous females, the video highlights the best elements of the group's music as well as adding a distinctly AKERCOCKE-esque visual approach.

"Axiom" is taken from the album "Antichrist" which was released last week in Europe, featuring a strictly limited edition version in a super-jewel case with two bonus tracks.

The video will be ready after June 15 to view on most major music channels.
