AKERCOCKE Frontman Discusses Vinyl Collection

March 10, 2009

The new issue of Record Collector magazine features an extensive interview with Jason Mendonça of British progressive death metallers AKERCOCKE, conducted by writer Joel McIver. In the interview Mendonça discusses his large collection of rare vinyl, including several techno and drum 'n' bass releases hailing back to his pre-AKERCOCKE career as a DJ and producer.

Mendonça is pictured below with rare vinyl items from his collection, including the "vomit pack" issue of VIO-LENCE's "Eternal Nightmare" and the picture-disc LP of DARKTHRONE's "Soulside Journey", among others.

The magazine is available now from all U.K. and U.S. newsagents.

See www.recordcollectormag.com for more information.

AKERCOCKE's new DVD, "A Decade Of Devil Worship", will be released this summer via the Goat Of Mendes label.
