AJATTARA, who feature in their ranks former AMORPHIS frontman Pasi Koskinen (a.k.a. Ruoja), recently entered the Finnish single chart at position No. 2 with their Christmas single, "Joulusingle 2005". The CD contains an original song entitled "Teuras", backed by a cover of the track "Kansallispäivä", originally written and recorded by the Finnish band SIELUN VELJET.
AJATTARA's third CD, "Tyhjyys" ("Emptiness") was released late last year through the Spinefarm Records subsidiary Spikefarm. Recordings for the album took place at Savonlinna's Sundi Coop studio, where AJATTARA recorded their earlier releases, "Itse" (2001) and "Kuolema" (2003).
