AGAINST THE PLAGUES: New Song Available For Streaming

October 24, 2011

"Man's Modern World", a brand new song from the Chicago-based multinational extreme act AGAINST THE PLAGUES, can be streamed in the YouTube clip below.

Commented the band: "After a year of hard work and preparation, we are proud to announce that our new material is complete and ready for release. Once again, we worked with producer Chris Wisco (NOVEMBER'S DOOM, LAZARUS A.D.) at Belle City Sound Studio.

"Before we release the album, we have decided to release one new song called 'Man's Modern World' to serve as a preview for the album. This particular piece is meant to be a reflection of today's civilization as it observes the notion that tools (such as fear) are utilized by organizations and entities to create blind dependency and loyalty along with discouraging mankind's will to a point where one's potential to excel will never be reached. We feel this new track best represents the motif and pace of the album."

AGAINST THE PLAGUES' debut album, "Decoding The Mainframe", was released in Europe on March 31, 2010 via Vic Records.

AGAINST THE PLAGUES last year parted ways with guitarist Adrian Adamus (FOREST OF IMPALED, CORPHAGY). According to the band, Adrian left AGAINST THE PLAGUES "in order to focus on his personal/family life." Guitar duties in AGAINST THE PLAGUES are now being handled by Marco Martell (MALEVOLENT CREATION, DIVINE EMPIRE, KULT OF AZAZEL),who previously played bass for the group.

"Decoding The Mainframe" contains re-recorded versions of all eight songs from AGAINST THE PLAGUES' self-released CD, "Architecture of Oppression". The tracks were remastered and mixed by Dan Swan (EDGE OF SANITY, AEON, DISSECTION, KATATONIA, MARDUK).

AGAINST THE PLAGUES is:

* Varyen Chylinski (FOREST OF IMPALED, DAMNATION) - Drums
* Marco Martell (MALEVOLENT CREATION, DIVINE EMPIRE) - Guitar
* Marcin "Novy" Nowak (BEHEMOTH, VADER, ROAD'S END) - Bass
* Orlando Logan "Plague Healer" Perez (ex-VEX, WHORE OF BABYLON - Vocals
