AESMA DAEVA: 'Dawn Of The New Athens' Now Available

March 18, 2007

Minneapolis symphonic metal band AESMA DAEVA, which features in its ranks current THERION touring singer Lori Lewis, has released its fourth album, "Dawn of the New Athens". The CD, which features a reworked version of the song "Artemis" and the previously "censored" "Mozart aria 'D'oreste", was helmed by Grammy Award-winning producer Neil Kernon (NILE, NEVERMORE, CANNIBAL CORPSE, AKERCOCKE). Touring for the album should start around late fall, pending Lori's availability and the health of guitarist Earl Root, who recently underwent treatment for Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma cancer for which he was diagnosed back in 2000.
