AEROSMITH To Perform Free Concert In D.C.

AEROSMITH, BRITNEY SPEARS, and MARY J. BLIGE will perform a free concert on Thursday, Sept. 4 at The National Mall, between the U.S. Capitol and the Washington Monument in Washington, D.C. The lineup will include two other artists yet to be confirmed. Broadcast live from 8 to 9 p.m. on ABC, the concert leads up to the first regular season NFL game, when the Washington Redskins play the New York Jets at FedEx Field.

The concert is part of the 2003 NFL Kickoff Football Festival — Sept. 1 to 3 on the Mall — offering free interactive football games, football and cheerleading clinics, children's activities and autographs by NFL Hall of Fame players.
