AEROSMITH's TYLER, PERRY Set For SLY AND THE FAMILY STONE Grammy Tribute

According to StarPulse.com, AEROSMITH's Steven Tyler and Joe Perry will be part of an all-star cast of artists are set to come together on one stage in a special tribute to legendary funk band SLY AND THE FAMILY STONE at the 48th annual Grammy Awards. The salute to the band's unforgettable music also includes Grammy-nominated artists MAROON 5, Will.I.Am of the BLACK EYED PEAS and John Legend; soul sweetheart Joss Stone; rocker Robert Randolph; and singer Devin Lima.

A music icon of the '60s and '70s, STONE is responsible for some of the most engaging anthems ("I Want To Take You Higher", "Dance To The Music" and "Everyday People") and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993.

The music industry's premier event will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 8, at Staples Center in Los Angeles and will be broadcast in HDTV and 5.1 surround sound on the CBS Television Network at 8 p.m. (ET/PT).
