AEROSMITH's JOE PERRY: Solo Album Preview Available Online

April 28, 2005

Audio samples of all 13 cuts from AEROSMITH guitarist's self-titled solo album are available for listening at JoePerryMusic.com.

As previously reported, Perry will celebrate the release of his self-titled solo album (which comes out May 3) with a special performance at the Webster Hall club in New York City on May 5. As of now, it's the only show he's announced. Perry told Launch Radio Networks that he had some ideas about a short tour, but it just didn't work out, so this New York City event is the next best thing. "I'd thought about doing that at first, but I, I think that it's gonna take up too much time, so I'm gonna give this a real good kick-off party, and with the help of the record company, we're gonna have some fun with that in New York, and then it's gonna be off on its own," he said.

Perry will be the featured guest on the nationally syndicated radio show "Rockline" airing Monday, May 9, with an encore presentation scheduled for May 11. The live show begins at 8:30 p.m. PT / 11:30 p.m. ET, and fans are encouraged to call in with questions during the program at (800) 344-ROCK (7625). AEROSMITH is nearing the end of their year-long break, so Perry will rejoin his mates for a lengthy tour starting in late September or early October. The band will also release a live album at that time.
