As previously reported, AEROSMITH guitarist Joe Perry told the Rhode Island newspaper The Providence Journal that the band will start work on a new studio album in the spring, while two other records are in the works — one is a covers record featuring pop and rock classics from the 1960s, while the other will have them re-recording some of their classic songs. Perry said, "I'm certainly a better guitar player than I was in 1973." There's no word on when any of the albums will be released.
