AEROSMITH, one of the biggest and most influential bands in rock history, has been confirmed as one of the headliners of this year's Sweden Rock Festival festival, set to take place June 9-12, 2010 in Sölvesborg in southern Sweden.
AEROSMITH — Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Brad Whitford, Tom Hamilton and Joey Kramer — will return to Europe for the first time in three years in what promises to be a sensational show on Thursday, June 10.
The Sweden Rock Festival is the first of several European AEROSMITH dates, their first live appearances this year, and it looks set to be one of the highlights of 2010.
Vocalist Steven Tyler said: "Swedish audiences are like no other. We're all very excited."
Added guitarist Joe Perry: "This is the first show of our European tour. We can't wait to uncork our tour here in Sweden and I am sure the cork will hit the ceiling."
The festival billing is shaping up as follows:
ALDO NOVA (CAN)
BACHMAN & TURNER (CAN)
BILLY IDOL (UK)
FATES WARNING (US)
GARY MOORE (UK)
GUNS N' ROSES (US)
MOTHER'S FINEST (US)

Last year's festival was attended by 35,200 people, but in 2010 the maximum number of visitors will be limited to 33,000.
