AEROSMITH Bassist Forced To Cancel Appearance At Foxboro Fundraiser

January 24, 2011

According to Auto-Mobi.info, AEROSMITH's Tom Hamilton has been forced to cancel his appearance with "American Idol" finalist Siobhan Magnus at the sixth annual Battle of the Bands on January 30 at Showcase Live, Gillette Stadium, in Foxboro, Massachusetts. The bassist will instead send a video message to be broadcast during the show.

Hamilton and fellow AEROSMITH bandmates will join lead singer Steven Tyler in Los Angeles this week to work on new material for the group's forthcoming album.

In a statement issued by RJL Memorial Fund trustees, Rick and Marie Lariviere said, "Of course, we are very disappointed, but we are honored and extremely grateful to Tom for his support and wish him and the band enormous success with their recording."
