ADRIFT: Video Posted Online

April 16, 2004

ADRIFT, the hard rock project featuring CANNIBAL CORPSE guitarist Jack Owen, have completed work on their video for the track "Empty Dreams". Shot on professional DV, and directed and edited by Gary Schutt (of Jeff Scott Soto fame),the clip is a social commentary on "picking up the pieces of a shattered life and moving onward and upward to success," according to a statement from the group. Check it out in Windows Media (3.8 MB) and QuickTime (45 MB) formats at the group's official web site, www.adrift.cc.

In other ADRIFT news, the voting in the ADRIFT merchandise giveaway contest has been completed and ten lucky signers of the band's guestbook will be contacted personally by the band very soon to be informed of their prize. "We have had such an overwhelming response that ADRIFT has decided to begin a new promotion," the band write. "The next 250 guestbook signings will be entered into a drawing for more high-quality ADRIFT merch, but also for backstage passes to shows, signed ADRIFT gear, and VIP parties! Keep checking back!"
