ACEY SLADE To Take Part In 'A Tribute To Grunge'

October 10, 2008

Acey Slade (ex-TRASHLIGHT VISION, MURDERDOLLS, AMEN) will take part in "Seattle Sound: A Tribute To Grunge," a special concert which will be held on Sunday, October 19 at The Delancey in New York City. East meets West in this New York City grungefest, an homage to the loudest bands of the '90s: NIRVANA, PEARL JAM, ALICE IN CHAINS, SOUNDGARDEN, FOO FIGHTERS, STONE TEMPLE PILOTS, HOLE and more. Doors are at 8:00 p.m. Show starts at 9:00 p.m. Cover: $10 at the door.

For more information, visit www.thedelancey.com.

Acey Slade will release an EP featuring remixes from Skinny Kangur of DEATHSTARS, Piggy D of ROB ZOMBIE, Loopy from HANZEL UND GRETYL and DJ Speedranch. The EP will be a limited release and some of the remixes will be exclusive to this CD. It will also include stickers and a patch. A full-length album is 90% completed and should be released later this year or in early 2009. The album and the EP are a collaboration between Acey and producer Shaun "Stakka" Morris, a legend in the drum-and-bass scene. The full-length CD blends guitars with electronica, and pop with darkness, hence its tentative title, "Dark Party". Shaun handled the programming while Acey played bass, guitar and lead vocals. Andee, who will be a part of the live band, added additional guitars. One new song is available for streaming at this location.
