Acclaimed Guitarist AMY SCHUGAR Lands Endorsement Deal

July 12, 2004

Acclaimed female guitarist/songwriter Amy Schugar has landed an endorsement deal with Daisy Rock Guitars after having attended music trade show NAMM earlier this year. Daisy Rock Guitars is a relatively new company that has many heavy hitters including Ann and Nancy Wilson from HEART endorsing their line of guitars. Daisy Rock Guitars is a company targeted after women, but is not limited to them and includes some male artists also endorsing their fine line of guitars and products.

Amy Schugar, a resident and native of Phoenix, started playing guitar while attending Cortez High School. Her continued efforts resulted in her making a CD with legendary guitarist Michael Schenker (known from SCORPIONS, UFO, and MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP, a.k.a. MSG) that soon followed with a U.S. tour in the winter of 2003, where she was very well received by Michael Schenker fans. Amy was mentioned in the March and April 2004 issues of Guitar World magazine, and in the March 2004 issue of Guitar One magazine as well. Metal Maidens magazine #36, due out in mid June-July, will feature a full interview and photos of Amy Schugar.
