ACCEPT Guitarist's Custom-Made Amp Being Auctioned

April 5, 2011

A modified Marshall 50W amplifier which was custom-made for Wolf Hoffmann of German heavy metal legends ACCEPT in the early '90s by German amp guru Dirk Baldringer is being auctioned via eBay. It is a highly customized head that was built using a new, '90s Marshall reissue amp. Please note that this is not a "vintage" amp. It is one of two identical amps that were built for Wolf at the time. This is the stand-by unit that toured the world with ACCEPT and was used sparingly since both units were so reliable. Since it remained primarily in its case during the tours, it is in almost new-looking condition. It was used during the '90s all the way until the recent recording sessions for ACCEPT's latest album, "Blood Of The Nations". You can hear also this amp on several ACCEPT live recordings that were made during the period, including "The Final Chapter". A letter of authenticity may be included if the winning bidder desires. The amp may also be personally signed by Wolf if the winner would like.
