AC/DC's 'Black Ice' Certified Quintuple Platinum In Germany

According to AC-DC.net, AC/DC's latest album, "Black Ice", has sold more than a million copies in Germany since its October 2008 release, making it the band's most successful LP to date in that territory. "Black Ice" has now been certified quintuple platinum in Germany.

AC/DC has been nominated for four ARIA Awards (Australian Recording Industry Association Music Awards) this year. The band was nominated in the following categories:

* Highest Selling Australian Album
* Best Rock Album
* Best Group
* Album of the Year

AC/DC was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 1988 but has never won an award.
