ABYSMAL DAWN: Live Footage Of Two New Songs Available

June 11, 2007

ABYSMAL DAWN, the Los Angeles-based extreme metal horde, recently performed with Norway's legendary EMPEROR at the Key Club in Hollywood, CA. Vocalist/guitarist Charles Elliott commented on the performance: "We'd like to thank everyone that supported ABYSMAL DAWN at our gig with EMPEROR at the Key Club in Los Angeles. We know everyone was mainly there to see EMPEROR and to see their fans welcome us with open arms was truly overwhelming. We played two new songs that night and the response was insane! We can't wait to see all you maniacs again when we play with IMMORTAL on July 15th! Thank you once again to all our metal brothers and sisters and supporters of extreme metal."

Video clips from the show, including footage of two new songs — "Walk the Path of Fire" and "Programmed to Consume" — can be viewed here.

Upcoming shows:

Jul. 15 - The Avalon – Hollywood, CA (w/ IMMORTAL, LETUMN ASCENSUS)
Aug. 04 - The Jumping Turtle – San Marcos, CA (w/ EXODUS)

ABYSMAL DAWN will enter the studio this August to begin recording the as-yet-untitled follow-up to "From Ashes". An early 2008 release is expected.

ABYSMAL DAWN's debut album, "From Ashes", was released in April 2006 via Crash Music Inc. It was engineered, mixed and mastered by John Haddad at Shiva Industries.
