ABYSMAL DAWN Announces New Bassist

March 27, 2007

ABYSMAL DAWN, the Los Angeles-based extreme metal band featuring former members of RISE and INHUMAN VISION, has issued the following update:

"We'd like to thank everyone that came out to the Los Angeles Murderfest this past weekend. It was an honor playing for all of you and it was well worth taking the short break from writing.

"As most of you noticed that night we now have a new bass player in our ranks, Mr. Mike Cosio (GRAVE DESECRATION, ex-EXCRETION, etc.)! We've been working with him for the past month and after his outstanding performance this weekend it's finally official.

"Now that we've gotten playing live out of our system for a while, it's time to climb back into our shells and continue writing. Our only scheduled performance at the moment is the recently added EMPEROR reunion show on June 3rd at the Key Club in Hollywood. We feel very privileged to be supporting such a legendary entity and hope you will come out and show your support for some black/death metal art!"

ABYSMAL DAWN's debut album, "From Ashes", was released in North America in April 2006 via Crash Music Inc. It was engineered, mixed and mastered by John Haddad at Shiva Industries.
