ABSU: Rescheduled Fort Worth Concert Announced

July 28, 2009

ABSU's Dallas/Ft. Worth concert, which was originally supposed to take place on June 29, has been rescheduled for September 5 at the Ridglea Theater in Fort Worth, Texas. This show will also feature doom metal legends SOLITUDE AETURNUS and Austin-based black metallers AVERSE SEFIRA. All tickets for the original concert on June 29 will be honored for the September 5 make-up performance.

Tickets are available at www.frontgatetickets.com and at the box office the day of the show.

Quality video footage of the ABSU's July 25, 2009 performance at the Stonehenge "underground metal festival" at De Buze in Steenwijk, The Netherlands can be viewed below (courtesy of "letthedeathmetalflow"). More clips are available at this location.

ABSU will embark on a full European tour later this year. Support on the trek will come from psychedelic black metal band NACHTMYSTIUM, Australia's RAZOR OF OCCAM (featuring members of DESTROYER 666) and ZOROASTER.

ABSU hasn't toured Europe in over a decade apart from several festival appearances.

ABSU's self-titled album was released on February 24 via Candlelight Records. The CD was more or less engineered by the band, mixed by none other than J.T. Longoria at Nomad Recording Studio (KING DIAMOND, SOLITUDE AETERNUS, etc.). It was mastered by Proscriptor at his studio Tarot Productions.
